Manufacturer is searching for a Repair Supplier that specializes in LCD repair of all types (e.g., light bleed, backlight replacements, polarizer replacements, mura affect, pixel defects, black level uniformity, etc.) This is a two tiered project. The first tier is focused on New Production 15” LCD displays that do not meet our medical grade standards, but meet Supplier specifications. This is the only display choice we have and we need a Supplier that can repair displays that exhibit the following abnormalities: light bleed in lower ambient lighting, mura affect, pixel defects and black level uniformity. This is anticipated to be a “one-time” volume of 5,000 to 15,000 units, dependent on yields. We would need these repaired at a minimum of 75 per week. The second tier is for various size LCD displays that need polarizer and backlight replacements. Polarizers must be replaced in a certified Clean Room. There can be zero dust particles between the polarizer and glass. The anticipated volume is 50-75 per week for the next 10+ years. SLA's are varying depending on the contract signed with the customers, as well as if the installation is related to a small quantity of products ( 1 to 2 ) to be installed where no logistic is necessary ( only unbox and plug in required as products already available in the right spot at customer location ). SLA is normally NBD, or if it is an important product rollout where logistic is involved to prepare and deliver the products to the customer site according to the planning agreed to by the customer, and which is then monitored by a project manager to be provided by the candidate company. Candidate companies need to be experienced in the management of printer rollouts and associated logistics, technicians need to be experienced in printer installation and potentially break fix. System interfacing with OEM system is required because installations are scheduled through the system; installation progress and potential issues are provided by different statuses through this interface. OEM in the computer printer business needs to reshape the spare part logistics process used to perform the service of their hardware at customer sites throughout the EMEA region. Implementation is intended to be staggered in Western Europe, Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Expected service level on the deliveries may be as short as cut off around 5 or 6PM, with an overnight delivery before 8 to 9 AM the following day to the PUDO, car boot, or end customer. A return process will need to be implemented for the recovery of unused parts, which can utilize a slower and less costly means of transportation. Visibility of the inventory as well as real-time status about the location of the spares will have to be available. Planning of the various stocking locations will need to be provided, key performance indicator SLA is the product availability ratio, it may also be required that the candidate company purchases and owns the spare part stock. The Argentinean recycling company needs to have all the permits requested by the City, Province and Nation, including exportation permit. The company MUST export products that cannot be recycled in Argentina, due to lack of infra-structure. Landfill disposal as a recycling method is NOT an option. Service provider will perform service and restore the customers' products to proper operating condition per manufacturer specifications. Appointments must be schedule with the customer prior to arrival. Strong IT integration capabilities required along with technical resources across the geography. Limit response to three-pages with information about the dispatch capability and the number of technicians under contract. Please include a financial overview along with organizational information and an overview of IT capability
