At SLS, innovation and continuous improvement are not just goals—they are part of our day-to-day mission of maximizing asset redeployment, ensuring data security and advancing sustainability in the ITAD industry. The team at our Circular Center in Son en Breugel, Netherlands has creatively developed some adapters to more effectively handle IT assets. The diverse mix of makes, models, sizes and condition of the assets we receive can affect the initial steps of the ITAD process and potentially lead to inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and reduced resale value.

Traditional methods of testing and processing IT assets often involve standard tools or makeshift solutions that fail to provide proper protection or efficiency. This typically leads to increased handling time, cosmetic flaws and additional risk of internal damage during testing and processing, all of which impact asset value. Recently introduced 3D-printed devices in Son en Breugel help standardize different steps of processing, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and improved quality across a diverse inventory of IT assets. These adaptations also result in the sustainable benefit of minimizing waste, and help to produce higher quality products, increasing resale value to our clients.
