Bio
Guennael is currently a Principal at CE/LX Advisory (Consumer Electronics / Life Extension) after 5 years as General Manager of the Trade-In & CPO business unit at Samsung Electronics. There, he and his team created the first OEM-backed CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) phone anywhere in the world, before building a complete trade-in program capability for Samsung, from campaign creation to reverse logistics, to triaging & refurbishing, to reselling in auctions, insurance companies and at retailers across the US. Just in 2020, these programs generated hundreds of millions of US$ of incremental revenue for the company, and units across the global Samsung organization are taking the lessons learned to create their own programs.
After another year as Head of Planning & Logistics for Samsung Retail, Guennael recently left the company and is focused today on helping clients build Trade-In programs and optimize their asset recovery + recommerce capabilities. Before Samsung, Guennael was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. Today, he resides in Dallas with his family and an adorable COVID puppy who runs the show.
